In a dramatic turn in the Aligarh elopement case, Jitendra, the husband of the woman who ran away with their future son-in-law, has made a heartfelt public appeal. Despite the betrayal, Jitendra has said he is willing to give his wife another chance for the sake of their young children. He has expressed his reluctance to go through a divorce, stating that his priority is keeping the family together.

Efforts to Rebuild a Broken Home

Jitendra shared that life at home has been difficult since his wife left. He is managing household responsibilities and caring for their children alone. Still, he hopes for reconciliation. He believes that the young man misled his wife and accused him of manipulating women for financial gain.

Financial Loss and Allegations

Jitendra claims significant financial loss due to the elopement:

Cash stolen: ₹3.5 lakh

Jewellery value: ₹5.5 lakh

Additional amount in coins (Roka): ₹1 lakh

Two mobile phones: Allegedly taken by the couple

He has demanded the return of all stolen items and plans to involve the police soon.

Husband Not Willing to Divorce

Jitendra firmly stated that he will not divorce his wife because their children need their mother. He described the emotional toll the incident has taken on him but emphasized his focus remains on protecting the future of his children. He wants to give his wife time to reconsider and hopes she returns voluntarily.

Serious Accusations Against the Man Involved

Jitendra accused the young man of previously committing similar offenses. According to him, the man:

Gains trust through phone conversations

Coaxes women to meet him

Takes their money and jewelry

Buys property in his native village

Later abandons the women

Final Appeal for Family Restoration

Despite the gravity of the situation, Jitendra said he is open to accepting his wife back after a discussion with his family. He believes both parties should be held accountable legally but remains hopeful that his wife will return and start over for the sake of their children.
