Another foreign trip by Rahul Gandhi has stirred up the political scene in India. The conversation this time is fueled by a letter from the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), which has raised concerns about his security. This has opened the door for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to question the nature of these visits.

The main issue revolves around allegations that Rahul Gandhi has repeatedly broken security protocols during his international travels. The CRPF, which is responsible for his 'Z+' security cover, sent a letter to Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge outlining these concerns. According to the security force, individuals with high-security clearance are required to provide advance notice of their travel plans so that proper arrangements can be made. The letter alleges that this procedure has not always been followed.

This development has provided the BJP with fresh ammunition to criticize the Congress leader. The ruling party is framing the issue around transparency and the purpose of these trips. BJP's IT Cell head, Amit Malviya, questioned the "frequent disappearances" and secret foreign trips. He suggested that as the Leader of the Opposition, Rahul Gandhi owes an explanation to the public.] The BJP has also raised suspicions about potential "secret meetings" taking place during these visits abroad

The Congress party, however, has pushed back against these claims. Party spokesperson Pawan Khera defended a recent trip, stating that Rahul Gandhi was in London to attend his niece's graduation ceremony and accused the Prime Minister's Office of "dirty tricks. The party has also questioned the timing of the CRPF letter's public release, suggesting it could be an attempt to intimidate Rahul Gandhi.

The controversy highlights the intense scrutiny placed on political leaders in India. While personal travel is a private matter, for a prominent figure like Rahul Gandhi, it often becomes a subject of public and political debate, especially when security protocols are involved.
