Rahul Gandhi from Congress made a challenge on February 2 Sunday by asking Arvind Kejriwal from the Aam Aadmi Party to drink the foul water given to Delhi people while accusing him of using empty promises similar to those made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
At a public meeting at Hauz Qazi Chowk in old Delhi for Congress candidate Haroon Yusuf he declared that his party was the sole supporter of people who endured violence during the 2020 Delhi riots and they would offer their backing to any individual suffering oppression.
Citizens of the country needed to decide whether they wished to support BJP/RSS ideology based on hate and violence versus the Congress notion of love and brotherhood.
A decisive competition formed between Congress party leadership and Narendra Modi occurred at that time. Arvind Kejriwal emerged during this conflict to climb an electric pole and promised new politics and complete corruption removal and purification of Delhi and Yamuna River and deep national harmony among citizens.
Gandhi demonstrated his point about Yamuna river pollution by presenting a bottle of National Capital's supplied water to the audience. Kejriwal should drink one glass of Delhi public water which would result in his hospitalization according to Gandhi's statement.
While smelling the bottle contents the leader of opposition in Lok Sabha declared the water had a stench.
Through his statement Gandhi pointed out that while Kejriwal characterized his politics as serving the poor his team consisted of no members from minority communities including Dalits or backward groups or Sikhs or Muslims.
Rahul Gandhi told the public if Kejriwal drank Yamuna water he would see him after the hospital visit.
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi initiated a thorough assault of Aam Aadmi Party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday by asking Kejriwal to uphold his vow to purify Yamuna River through public bathing in its waters.
The Congress leader made these statements during his public meeting at Hauz Qazi Chowk.
As a part of his criticism Kejriwal faced comparisons to Prime Minister Narendra Modi from Yogi Adityanath when he charged into fault the core 9-person AAP group of leaders including Manish Sisodia and others such as Atishi and Sanjay Singh and Satyendra Jain and Raghav Chaddha. Holding the AAP pamphlet with its leader images against his chest he read aloud "Kejriwal leads this group of nine core members which includes his partner Sisodia and Atishi and Sanjay Singh and Raghav Chadha and Sandeep Pathak and Satendra Jain and Avadh Ojha and how many of these members are truly part of the 90% of the population?" The Dalit OBC and Muslim community members are absent from the team as the leaders specifically select their members before making sudden disappearances during riots.
Kejriwal maintains a silent stance while Modi takes a public position and he prefers to stay away during demanding situations according to him. The electoral battle exists as a real dispute between opposing doctrine of unity against doctrine of hostility.
The political dispute centers around BJP RSS which serves as the party of hostility and Congress upholds principles of unification. At present Narendra Modi serves as PM yet once he leaves power no one will recall his name because India knows two figures (Mahatma Gandhi and Godse) and Godse remains forgotten to history," he conveyed.
The elections for Delhi Assembly will occur on February 5 followed by vote counting on February 8.
