Kumbh Mela 2025: The India Meteorological Department has launched a specialized website to inform devotees of weather reports during the event, as it is expected that millions of devotees are anticipated to turn up as Kumbh Mela 2025 is all set to begin on Monday. Witnesses have reported that thousands of devotees were present at the Triveni Sangam which is the conjunction of Ganga, Yamuna and the holy Saraswati, and took a blessed dip in its waters.

The website would also allow devotees to access predictions about air quality, temperature, wind speed, and humidity, as well as frequent temperature change during the duration of the event. It would not only cover Prayagraj but would also allow devotees access to the forecast of nearby cities such as Ayodhya, Varanasi, Lucknow, Agra and Kanpur over a week, three days and on an hourly basis.

The IMD reports that fog will cover Prayagraj and other cities for the next two to three days, in addition to partially cloudy skies. The Mahakumbh is set to conclude on February 26.
