
The MP, Mahua Maji, sustained injuries while traversing the Kumbh region after their vehicle rammed a truck parked on the side of the road in the district of Latehar in Jharkhand in the early hours of Wednesday, police said. “Maji sustained a fractured left wrist and was taken to a private facility in Ranchi” – police statement. Maji, a political figure, has a fractured wrist and is currently being treated part-time at a private specialty clinic in Ranchi, as reported by police. Maji’s relatives who were also traveling in the car sustained cuts and bruises, though nothing serious.
As per local sources, these details surfaced around 2:30 a.m. in Hotwag village on the NH-75. Maji was promptly transported to Sadar Hospital, where immediate treatment was administered before she was transferred to RIMS-Ranchi for more extensive care, says Dular Chowde, in charge of the Sadar police station.
She was ferrying back to Ranchi from Prayagraj with her son and daughter in law, he continues.
