Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini deepened his critical stance against AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal in relation to the Yamuna River water contamination matter. Saini issued a public invitation to Kejriwal during Friday's interaction to prove his point by drinking river water at Wazirabad point thus exposing Kejriwal's supposed political tricks for concealing his ineffective leadership.
According to Saini the Delhi citizens have been mandated by Kejriwal to drink polluted water for the previous ten years. The Haryana and Delhi water samples were shown to reporters by Saini at the Wazirabad area of Yamuna Ghat for verification purposes. The quality difference between Haryana and Delhi waters stood as his main point of emphasis.
Haryana vs Delhi: Water Quality Debate
Saini validated his position by visiting Palla Ghat near the Haryana-Delhi border to consume the water that Haryana provided. According to Saini Delhi discharged water which was totally unusable as drinking water. Since the last decade Kejriwal has made numerous false commitments to clean the Yamuna River but took no effective action to keep his promises.
The authorities under his leadership refused to address both sewage drain operations and sewage treatment facility maintenance duties. Saini claims the chief minister uses blame as his current strategy to excuse his past failures.
AAP's Role in Yamuna Pollution
As Saini explained the Yamuna stands as a holy river yet pollutants from Delhi's raw sewage waste make it unclean. According to Saini the Kejriwal-led government bear responsibility for Yamuna pollution because they failed to treat its water before river discharge. ικός dismissed accusations from Kejriwal that Delhi received polluted water on purpose from the leadership of the Haryana BJP.
A previous accusation of water pollution by Kejriwal against BJP later resulted in an Election Commission notice. He presented documentation about the statements for inspection by the commission.
Saini's Open Challenge to Kejriwal
Saini returned to his previous claims by stating that the water transforms into an unhealthy substance between Delhi and Faridabad which endangers public health. Mr. Saini accused Mr. Kejriwal of performing a mass genocide operation against residents of Faridabad.
Through social media Saini declared his public acceptance in hindi of Kejriwal to consume Yamuna River water from Wazirabad premises. I consumed the Palla water source however it develops harmful properties while flowing through Delhi to Palla.
The poor water quality stems from dysfunctional sewage treatment plants situated in Delhi according to Saini who also accuses the AAP government of active sewage discharges into the Yamuna.
Political Backlash Ahead of Elections
The politician criticized Kejriwal by labeling him a deceptive leader who delivers misleading information along with escaping accountability responsibilities. According to Saini Kejriwal tried to defame Haryana in desperation because he saw his electoral defeat approaching.
The people of Delhi plan to make Deceitful Kejriwal experience retribution during this election cycle. The political leader expressed his frustration because of losing the upcoming elections even after using his toxic political methods," Saini said.
February 5 Delhi Elections Loom
Saini criticized Kejriwal because the leader had failed to deliver on his commitments to enhance education and water service delivery throughout Delhi. He pronounced that representatives would vote against AAP during the February 5 elections.
Before this statement Saini announced a drinking challenge to Kejriwal which involved congress leader Rahul Gandhi at Rajghat for water from Yamuna River. The leader consumed Yamuna water on Wednesday while disproving AAP's river water pollution reports.
Haryana continues to distinguish itself as a provider of uncontaminated water to Delhi in opposition to the claims Kejriwal alongside Water Minister Atishi have voiced.
Delhi residents will vote on February 5 to elect the members of the 70-seat legislature which will have its results counted on February 8.
