Gold Rate Today 3rd January 2025: On Friday, the last trading day of the week, gold prices were seen trading in the red. Gold was also seen trading with a decline in the domestic market. On Friday morning, gold for delivery on 5 February 2025 on the MCX exchange was seen trading at Rs 77,700 per 10 grams, down 0.02 percent or Rs 17. Earlier on Thursday, the price of gold closed with a gain in the Delhi bullion market. Gold spot rose by Rs 330 to Rs 79,720 per 10 grams.
Silver falls
Along with gold, silver prices have also seen a decline. Domestic futures prices of silver were seen trading in the red. In early trade on the MCX exchange, silver for delivery on March 5, 2025 was seen trading at Rs 88,969 per kg, down 0.23 per cent or Rs 204. Earlier on Thursday, silver closed at Rs 90,630 per kg, up by Rs 130 in the spot market.

The global price of gold is seeing a rise on Friday morning. The global price of gold on the commodity market (Comex) was seen trading at $2,672.80 an ounce with an increase of 0.14 percent or $3.80. At the same time, gold spot was seen trading at $2,658.24 an ounce with an increase of 0.01 percent or $0.34.

There has been an increase in the global prices of silver. The price of silver on Comex was seen trading at $29.96 per ounce with an increase of 0.20 percent or $0.06. At the same time, Silver Spot was seen trading at $29.57 per ounce with an increase of 0.02 percent or $0.01.
