Mathura, Uttar Pradesh:  Four criminals from the Tatlu gang were arrested following a brief police encounter, during which three of them sustained bullet injuries, Uttar Pradesh Police reported on Monday.

Joint Operation by SOG and Kotwali Police

A joint effort by the Special Operations Group (SOG) and Kotwali police led to the capture of four interstate criminals involved in extorting money from well-established businessmen. According to an official police statement, three of the accused suffered bullet injuries in their legs during the confrontation.

Recovery of Stolen Money and Weapons

Authorities recovered ₹1,70,000, which had been fraudulently taken from businessmen, along with a vehicle used in the crime. A significant quantity of arms and ammunition was also seized from their possession.  

Injured Accused Under Medical Care

The injured suspects were immediately taken to Mathura district hospital for medical treatment, police officials confirmed.

Investigation Underway

SP City Arvind Kumar stated, “Four criminals have been apprehended, and three of them were shot. Their treatment is ongoing. They were wanted in fraud cases in Kotwali. All four suspects are from Gurgaon. The investigation is in progress.”
