The ongoing wildfires in the southern California region are reported to have taken over 13 lives, and caused enormous structural damage by razing over 12,000 buildings. Retrieving winds amplified the already burning blazes into raging fires. Reported by Reuters, the Palisades, a massive wildfire located in Sierra leone, is also expanding.
Starting from steep hills, officials dropped water combined with fire retardants during the fighter efforts to prevent the further escalation of the Palisades wildfire, while also relying on the ground forces which target key areas of the fire. This coalition came into action amid the situation of strong winds that were rising to 70MPH.
As officials communicated to Reuters, the Palisades fire has swept along an additional 1000 acres during the course of 24 hours. It is estimated that due to the escalation there is mass destruction of houses.
According to Todd Hopkins, a cal fire official, the Palisades fire was only 11% contained, with over 22,000 acres of land already burning. During a press conference, he stated that Mandeville Canyon meets Brentwood was under the risk of getting hit along with other high-end regions where a large density of celebrities reside.
Order of evacuations in Los Angeles region include 153000 residents giving risk to 57000 buildings as confirmed Robert Luna, the Sheriff of the Los Angeles County. He further added that 166,000 have been instructed that they may be instructed to evacuate at a later stage.
But significant progress was reported in bringing electrical power back to Los Angeles neighborhoods.
It Blair Bushy while addressing reporters explained that the figure of 50,000 customers without electricity in Southern California showed progress especially when considering the Donald Trump Harris electricity outage.
US president Joe Biden made calls to some state and local officials who were managing this specifically in case of them which were dense in Los Angeles, he was also on details along with his senior aides regarding the resources being supplied from the federal side.

Wildfires, that began raging on Tuesday simultaneously across LA County have so far taken the lives of 13 people besides causing the destruction around twelve thousand structures. There are around thirteen people reported still report missing.
The figure is estimated to get worse once the firefighters resume house to house search.
The wild Santa Ana warm winds that fanned the flames quelled, but the Palisades Fire now was moving towards a new direction as the winds blew in from the Pacific Ocean.
This event marks the most destruction Los Angeles has experienced as several neighborhoods have now been turned into ashes; the only things that remain are the burnt homes and people’s goods.
The dense poisonous smoke has led to officials declaring a public health emergency.
Residents of Pacific Palisades who tried to return to their homes on Friday were horrified to see their brick chimneys standing over scorched debris and incinerated cars with thick smoke in the atmosphere.
