Filed with the Mumbai Commissioner and Maharashtra Women's Commission, the complaint alleges the use of abusive language on the show, urging strict action against the accused.

Ranveer Allahabadia Faces Backlash for Inappropriate Question

During the recent episode, Ranveer Allahabadia asked a contestant an inappropriate question, triggering widespread criticism on social media. Many users on X (formerly Twitter) called him out for his controversial remarks.

The latest episode of "India's Got Latent" featured well-known content creators such as Ashish Chanchlani, Jaspreet Singh, Ranveer Allahabadia, and Apoorva Makhija (The Rebel Kid), along with host Samay Raina.

Congress Spokesperson Supriya Shrinate Reacts

Reacting to the controversy, Congress spokesperson Supriya Shrinate condemned the remarks and the audience’s reaction. She criticized the loud applause for the offensive comment, stating,
"This isn’t creative. It’s perverse. And we can’t normalize perverse behavior as cool."
She also warned against promoting such humor, calling it a disturbing trend.

Public Demands Government Action

The controversy has also reached government officials, with social media users urging Ashwini Vaishnaw, the Minister of Information and Broadcasting, to intervene. Some users expressed disappointment over the declining standards of humor, while others warned about its negative impact on young audiences.
