Prime Minister Justin Trudeau from Canada announced on Saturday that his country would introduce customs duties of 25% on C$155 billion American products as a reaction to U.S. trade limitations. Prime Minister Trudeau announced to the press that the new tariffs of C$30 billion would start on Tuesday while the C$125 billion measures would begin application within 21 days.

Trump previously authorized an executive decree that brought 25% import duties on all products from Canada and Mexico with specific exemptions for Canadian energy goods which must pay a 10% import tax.
