Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has announced that the board intends to file a formal complaint with the International Cricket Council regarding the conduct of Indian players during the Under 19 Asia Cup final Naqvi stated that the Indian cricketers continuously provoked the Pakistani players throughout the match which ended in a significant victory for Pakistan speaking at a reception hosted for the winning team Naqvi expressed his disappointment with the behavior of the opposition and emphasized that politics should be kept separate from sports The PCB chief clarified that while they celebrate their historic win after thirteen years the incidents of provocation on the field cannot be overlooked and will be officially reported to the governing body backing these claims the team mentor Sarfaraz Ahmed also criticized the Indian sides attitude describing it as contrary to the spirit of the game and unethical Naqvi affirmed that maintaining player dignity is a priority and urged the ICC to look into the matter seriously
