
The BJP alleges that Hindu devotees in Kolkata participating in Ram Navami processions had their vehicles shattered and were attacked.
As per X platform, BJP MP Sukanta Majumdar mentioning that ‘stones were showered on the vehicles just for waving saffron flags along.’ He further claimed that ‘savage attacks’ on Hindu devotees took place at the Park Circus Seven Point area as Ram Navami procession was returning.
“Windshields shattered, chaos unleashed. This wasn’t random; this was planned violence, and the police were…where? Just there. The Paralyzed and Witnessing. Pathetic,’’ he expressed. The MP who represents Balurghat in Lok Sabha tagged videos of destroyed vehicles and continued his rant.
Majumdar further elaborated stating, “This demonstrates cowardly imposition of orders, proving the system during the roar of united Bengali Hindus in the process of Ram Navami has unearthed the system.”
"BJP MP further asserted this is ‘the beginning’ and promised 'from Kolkata – next year an even bigger, more boisterous, and stronger Ram Navami procession will take over Park Circus.' And the same policemen who today were mute spectators? ‘They will shower petals on us’. ‘These words mark,’ he wrote while tagging Kolkata Police," says the BJP leader.
In reply, the city police stated that they received information pertaining to damage to a vehicle and ‘under such circumstances the police interrupts to maintain order’. These explanations described a scenario that has yet to occur.
"There is no procession nor any attempt of it. A case is being registered for further investigation. Policing action will be undertaken without delay," said authorities in response to an alleged event at Park Circus which did not take place, and claimed they had no submitted prior permission documents and bypassed submitted documents.

Consequently, and in addition to referring to the movement where BJP’s Tewari was in charge, also instruction in what was said regarding permission is more particular down under.

While on India Today TV, Adhikari was leading a Ram Navami procession through Khidderpore, which is known to be a minority populated area. He accused Banerjee of not including an image of Lord Ram in her post to mark the occasion because ‘she doesn't accept him.
