The heat has started to rise in Delhi NCR, with temperatures climbing steadily. On March 18, 2023, the capital recorded a minimum temperature of 14.6°C, which is 1.9°C higher than normal. As the March heat sets in, the maximum temperature is expected to reach around 32°C, although the winds may offer some relief. The Meteorological Department has also forecast strong winds over the next few days in Delhi NCR, which may provide temporary relief from the rising temperatures.

Weather Conditions in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar

In Uttar Pradesh, the weather is predicted to remain dry until March 20, 2025, with rain and strong winds expected to hit the region between March 21-22, 2025. On the other hand, Bihar is likely to experience 70% chances of rain by March 21-22, accompanied by strong winds. There is also a possibility of hailstorms in various parts of the state.

Winter Continues in the Mountains

In the mountainous regions, winter conditions persist with a slight chill in the air in Uttarakhand. Snowfall continues at Badrinath Dham, with rain forecasted in the Pithoragarh, Chamoli, and Uttarkashi districts of the state. Similarly, in Himachal Pradesh, light snowfall and rain are expected in high-altitude areas such as Chamba, Kinnaur, and Lahaul Spiti. In Jammu and Kashmir, snowfall continues, causing a significant drop in temperatures and resulting in cold winds across the region.
