Lucknow. The weather in Uttar Pradesh will change again. Morning fog and intense cold are expected again at the end of the week. On Tuesday, the maximum wind speed could reach 11 km per hour. The weather on Lohri and Makar Sankranti will be icy and bitterly cold. Icy winds are expected at night.

There may be a partial change in the city's weather temperature for the next two days. The bright sunshine during the day improved the day temperature, and visibility was normal in some cities on Monday morning due to the absence of fog. However, fog prevailed in Meerut, Muzaffarnagar, Shamli, Rampur, Amroha, Moradabad, Pilibhit, and visibility on the roads was almost zero. There is a possibility of fog in these districts even today.

Mist and fog forecast for the evening

According to the forecast received from the Meteorological Department, there may be fog in the morning and evening due to humidity in the coming days, but there is a possibility of mild cold during the day due to northwest winds and bright sunshine in the afternoon.

Rampur. A thick fog enveloped Rampur on Tuesday morning, reducing visibility to zero. Vehicles slid slowly through the area. The minimum temperature was recorded at six degrees Celsius. The cold wind continued to chill the air.

Mercury reaches 4.6 degrees Celsius, melting increases

Shahjahanpur.  The effects of the snowfall in the mountains are visible here as well. Due to the cold wave, the minimum temperature dropped to 4.6 degrees Celsius. The sun shone brightly on Tuesday morning, but the melting continued. Dr. Manmohan Singh, a scientist with the Sugarcane Research Council's meteorological department, said the wind direction has shifted to the northwest. As a result, there is no fog, but the cold wave's effects persist.

Weather expert Dr. SN Sunil Pandey said that the weather will be clear for the next two days, with bright sunshine and fog reducing in the evening. A chilly winter will persist from evening until morning, with temperatures fluctuating by 1 to 2 degrees. He added that due to a new western disturbance over Afghanistan, temperatures will rise from Tuesday and then fall again from Friday.

On Monday, the maximum temperature was 20.7 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was 7.4 degrees Celsius. Due to the pressure of a northwest disturbance, the average wind speed ranged from 2.2 kilometers per hour to a maximum of 6.2 kilometers per hour.
