New Delhi, March 9, 2025 – Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, aged 73, was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) early Sunday morning after experiencing uneasiness and chest pain. He arrived at the hospital around 2 a.m. and was promptly admitted to the Critical Care Unit (CCU) under the supervision of Dr. Rajiv Narang, Head of the Department of Cardiology at AIIMS.
Sources indicate that the Vice President's condition is stable, and he remains under close observation by a team of doctors. Union Minister and senior BJP leader J.P. Nadda visited AIIMS shortly after Dhankhar's admission to inquire about his health.
