Chandigarh: Campaigning for the Haryana assembly elections is over now and now it is the public’s turn. Today, on Saturday, voting is to be held in a single phase for all 90 assembly seats in Haryana. Voting will begin in the morning itself, so it will be interesting to see what the public’s mood is. 1031 candidates for 90 seats

Haryana’s Chief Electoral Officer Pankaj Agrawal said that 2,03,54,350 voters are eligible to exercise their franchise, out of which 8,821 voters are above 100 years of age. Apart from this, there are 95 lakh women voters. Voting will be held from 7 am to 6 pm. 1,031 candidates are contesting 90 seats, out of which 101 are women. Among these candidates, 464 are contesting as independents. Pankaj Agrawal said that 20,632 polling stations have been set up for voting. The major parties that are going to contest in the Haryana assembly elections this time include BJP, Congress, AAP, INLD-BSP alliance, and JJP-ASP alliance.
