Vishwakarma Puja Date 2024: Vishwakarma Puja is one of the major festivals of Hinduism. Lord Vishwakarma is worshiped in Hinduism as the god of creation, construction, and architecture. In the year 2024, Kanya Sankranti is on 16 September, so Vishwakarma Jayanti or Vishwakarma Puja will also be performed on this day. The auspicious time for worship on this day will be from sunrise to around 11:42 am. Along with this, worshiping Lord Vishwakarma in Abhijit Muhurta (from 11:51 am to 12:40 pm) will also be considered auspicious.  

Vishwakarma Puja method

Purification: On the day of the puja, wake up early in the morning, take a bath, and wear clean clothes. Clean the place of worship as well and sprinkle Gangajal there.

A place for worship: You should choose a clean and sacred place for worship. You can install the idol or picture of Lord Vishwakarma at this place. You can decorate the place of worship with flowers, mango leaves, and rangoli.

Materials for Puja: For the puja, you should keep a coconut, betel nut, betel leaf, flowers, incense sticks, lamp, camphor, neroli, sandalwood, incense, sweets, fruits, etc. near the place of worship in advance. If you want, you can also keep the tools related to the work you do at the place of worship.
