Suspense crime, Digital Desk : Popular actor Vijay Deverakonda attended Suriya’s pre-release show of Retro Maestro which unofficially marked the release of the movie in Hyderbad. The event became even more lively when Vijay said few things that were thought provoking and hyperbolic.

In one session, the anchor asked him the most ridiculous question in the world “Who would you like to meet in person if time travel was a possibility?” He replied with relentless passion “After Watching Vicky Kaushal’s ‘Chhaava’ I would love to slap two of the British and three to Aurangzeb.

These comments were no doubt comical, but prompted laughter from the people next to him and Suriya who answered the question in a different way “I don’t miss anyone,” he answered rather stoically.

The tone became lighter when Vijay was asked whom he would have loved to work with if given a chance in the past. In a rather Charming manner, he mentioned Simran, Sonali Bendre and even Jyotika but while saying the last name added that she is married to Suriya.

Vijay is currently filming Kingdom with Gowtam Tinnanuri and has an untitled project in the works with Rahul Sankrithyan. His most recent film, The Family Star (2024) alongside Mrunal Thakur, garnered mixed reviews, yet sustained audience attention. His cameo as Arjuna in Kalki 2898 AD was among the highlights of the movie.

In other news, Chhaava continues its excellent box office performance as it overtook Stree 2 to become the seventh highest-grossing film.
