Questions raised on the safety of hospitals
This incident has once again raised questions about the security of hospitals. Earlier, a female doctor was raped and then murdered while on duty at RG Kar Hospital in West Bengal. A few days after the incident, anti-social elements broke into the hospital and vandalized it, and also destroyed evidence. After this, doctors went on a nationwide strike for their safety. However, till now no strict steps have been taken to improve the security system in hospitals.
