UP's food processing sector is being strengthened through education, research, and innovation; Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya provided new direction to students
Under the able guidance of Deputy Chief Minister and Minister of Food Processing Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya, the Food Processing Department in Uttar Pradesh is continuously working to strengthen the agriculture-based economy, equip the youth with technical skills, expand employment opportunities, and ensure value addition for farmers' produce. Driven by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's vision of 'Viksit Bharat 2047' and the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Yogi Adityanath, the state government is creating new possibilities by integrating food processing with agriculture, employment, and entrepreneurship.
In his message on this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya congratulated the institute's faculty, officials, staff, and students, stating that education, research, innovation, and technical expertise play a vital role in the field of food technology. Uttar Pradesh holds immense potential for the processing and value addition of agricultural products.
