Barabanki: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath delivered a major development boost to Barabanki on Monday, unveiling 82 transformative infrastructure projects valued at over ₹542 crore for the Dariyabad and Ramnagar assembly constituencies. Addressing a massive public gathering near the revered Shri Lodheshwar Mahadev temple after performing traditional Vedic rituals, Chief Minister Yogi launched a fierce political critique against the Samajwadi Party (SP) and Congress, accusing previous administrations of intentionally neglecting local cultural heritage and vital public infrastructure for decades.

During his address, CM Yogi Adityanath highlighted the historical disparity in government funding, pointing out that despite Barabanki's deep spiritual importance, the sacred Shri Lodheshwar Mahadev temple was left in a dilapidated condition for decades post-independence. He stated that past governments prioritized boundary walls for graveyards while systematically ignoring ancient heritage sites, the ancestral home of legendary hockey icon KD Singh Babu, and the conservation of the ancient Parijat tree. The Chief Minister proudly announced the formal approval of state funds for a grand temple corridor at Shri Lodheshwar Mahadev, aimed at boosting local pilgrimage tourism and infrastructure.

Janta Darshan Directives: Rapid Grievance Redressal And Direct Recruitment For Athletes

Prior to the Barabanki event, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath hosted his regular "Janta Darshan" interaction, personally reviewing public petitions and directing officials to enforce zero tolerance against delays in revenue and police administration matters. During the session, the Chief Minister interacted with visiting youth athletes, inquiring about their sports preparations while reassuring them of Uttar Pradesh's direct government recruitment initiatives for national medalists. Demonstrating his accessible public demeanor, CM Yogi also interacted warmly with young children accompanying their parents, distributing chocolates and emphasizing the critical importance of formal education.
