Shri Maurya stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the Central Government has implemented numerous public welfare schemes to bring about positive changes in the lives of the poor, farmers, women, the youth, and marginalized sections of society. Initiatives such as Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi, Jan-Dhan Yojana, and Swachh Bharat Mission have played a pivotal role in delivering housing, healthcare, clean fuel, financial assistance, and basic amenities to eligible beneficiaries.
He stated that while effectively implementing central schemes, the Uttar Pradesh government is placing special emphasis on rural development, the Pradhan Mantri and Chief Minister Awas Yojana (Rural), the empowerment of self-help groups, employment generation, and the expansion of basic amenities. The objective of the 'double-engine' government is to ensure that the benefits of development reach the person standing at the very last rung of society and that no eligible family is deprived of government assistance.
