SP's future rests on 5 MPs, 5 MLAs, and preparations in Saifai; the BJP will not allow the Congress's agenda of national division to succeed—Keshav Prasad Maurya.
Speaking to journalists at the Prayagraj Circuit House, Keshav Prasad Maurya stated that had officials taken timely action regarding the waterlogging issue in Prayagraj, citizens would not have faced the hardships they are currently experiencing. He assured that the matter would be investigated and action taken against anyone found guilty. Apologizing for the inconvenience caused to citizens, he promised that a permanent solution to the problem would be implemented. Mr. Maurya remarked that this is not merely a 'double-engine' government but a 'triple-engine' one, with the central, state, and local levels working together on development. Strict instructions have been issued to officials to discharge their duties with utmost seriousness and to make the drainage system effective. He noted that polythene waste is a major cause of clogged drains; the government has banned single-use plastic, and every citizen should act responsibly by ceasing its use.
Regarding the education system, he stated that the BJP government has brought about comprehensive reforms across all levels—from primary to higher and technical education. Schools have been transformed, and immediate cognizance will be taken of any complaints. On the issue of reservation, Mr. Maurya affirmed that the existing reservation system would continue. He acknowledged that the demand made by Sanjay Nishad regarding the inclusion of various sub-castes of the Nishad community in the Scheduled Castes category is under the government's consideration.
Mr. Maurya remarked that whether one calls it the 'Samajwadi Party' or the 'Samaptwadi Party' (Party of Extinction), there was a time when the family had five Members of Parliament; in the future, they might be left with only five MPs and five MLAs, and the party's future could be confined solely to Saifai.
The Deputy Chief Minister stated that the Congress party is culpable for the act of fragmenting 'Vande Mataram' and owes an apology to the nation. He asserted that while the Congress seeks to sow the seeds of the country's division today, the BJP's 'double-engine' government will ensure that neither India nor 'Vande Mataram' is ever divided.
