Hathras Pride: Teacher Pallavi Chaturvedi Wins State Teacher Award 2025
The dedicated teaching community of Uttar Pradesh continues to shine bright as exemplary educators receive state-wide recognition for their tireless service. In a proud moment for the region, assistant teacher Pallavi Chaturvedi from Hathras district has officially been named a recipient of the prestigious State Teacher Award 2025. Bested among a competitive pool of educators, her name proudly features on the finalized list of 61 teachers chosen from across the state for their outstanding contributions to primary and upper primary education.
Serving as an assistant teacher at the Upper Primary School (Chief Minister Abhyudaya) in Sasni, Pallavi's journey of academic excellence and institutional improvement has set a benchmark for educators across the state. On the auspicious occasion of Teachers' Day on September 5, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will personally felicitate her at a grand ceremony hosted at the Lok Bhavan auditorium in Lucknow.
Recognition of Excellence and Prestigious Rewards
The State Teacher Award recognizes educators who have demonstrated extraordinary commitment to transforming school environments and elevating learning standards. Alongside the immense prestige of being honored by the Chief Minister, the selected teachers will receive a comprehensive package of rewards.
The honored educators will be presented with a cash prize of ₹25,000, a formal citation, and a valuable two-year service extension. Furthermore, the government has extended a remarkable lifetime perk, granting awardees free travel privileges for up to 4,000 kilometers per year on Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation buses, ensuring lifelong mobility appreciation for their dedicated public service.
Rigorous Selection Process Across the State
The path to receiving this elite accolade involved a multi-tiered evaluation process. Initially, the Basic Education Department shortlisted and forwarded the names of three exceptional teachers from Hathras district to the state capital. This trio included Anil Kumar from the Integrated School in Bijlighar, Sasni, Lalita Kushwaha from the Integrated School in Baraus Sadabad, and Pallavi Chaturvedi.
Following detailed evaluations, the state-level selection committee convened across multiple sessions in August to meticulously review proposals based on teaching methodology, student performance improvements, innovation, and overall contributions to institutional development. Out of the district submissions, Pallavi Chaturvedi’s exceptional dossier successfully cleared the rigorous state-level scrutiny.
A Journey of Dedication and Educational Innovation
A resident of Center Point in Aligarh, Pallavi began her formal teaching career in Hathras in 2009. Since 2013, she has anchored her educational mission at the Upper Primary School in Sasni, transforming the everyday learning experience for her students.
Through continuous innovation, pedagogical dedication, and a hands-on approach to classroom management, she successfully elevated educational standards and enriched the overall school environment. Her relentless hard work has not only brought laurels to Hathras district but also serves as an inspiring testament to the profound impact a passionate teacher can make on young minds.
