A special cleanliness and service campaign will be conducted across the state on the birth anniversaries of Gandhi and Shastri; Keshav Prasad Maurya has issued instructions to the Principal Secretary
Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Maurya directed Additional Chief Secretary (Food Processing) B.L. Meena and Principal Secretary (Rural Development) Saurabh Babu to organize special cleanliness drives across the state on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti as part of the 'Seva Sankalp' (Pledge of Service) and cleanliness campaigns. He emphasized ensuring maximum participation from villagers by conducting extensive activities related to sanitation and public awareness in Gram Panchayats. He further directed that necessary development works be identified during Gram Sabhas by discussing development plans and prioritizing projects based on local needs.
The Deputy Chief Minister called upon public representatives, officials, and the general public to internalize Gandhiji's message of cleanliness and service, and to propagate Shastriji's resolve of "Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan" among the masses. He stated that building empowered and self-reliant villages through service, cleanliness, public participation, and social harmony would be a true tribute to these great icons.
