Speaking candidly about regional dynamics, he emphasized his personal connections while steering clear of ongoing political conflicts.
Refusing to Be Drawn Into Political Rifts
Addressing questions regarding the political friction between Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav and Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) chief Om Prakash Rajbhar, Abbas Ansari maintained a neutral stance. He noted that both leaders hold senior positions and personal ties to him—referring to one as an elder brother and the other as an uncle—and requested that he not be pulled into their political rhetoric. Reflecting on the fluid nature of alliances, he remarked that political alignments are never permanent, and figures who oppose each other today could potentially share platforms in the future.
Backing Gen-Z and Gen-Alpha Movements
Shifting focus to youth empowerment, Ansari expressed strong support for the rising activism among younger generations, identifying Gen-Z and Gen-Alpha as the true future of the country. He asserted that their ongoing demonstrations highlight legitimate demands that require serious attention from governing bodies. While encouraging peaceful civic engagement, he cautioned protesters to remain vigilant against anti-social elements attempting to derail peaceful demonstrations or create law-and-order disruptions.
Addressing Inflation and Everyday Hardships
Ansari also raised concerns regarding soaring inflation, noting how rising prices directly affect ordinary citizens in regions like Purvanchal, where daily essentials and basic commodities have become increasingly burdensome. He questioned why public discourse often deflects from economic challenges, emphasizing that everyday households bear the brunt of rising costs across essential goods.
