The Taj Mahal will get a visit from the US Vice President JD Vance on Wednesday. The city is covered under a security blanket to facilitate easy mobility during the visit. Security arrangements were discussed among CISF, IAF, police, Archaeological Department and many other associated bodies.

It was confirmed that responsibility for security will be shared along the planned travel pathway. Verifications of the entertainers and school pupils taking part in the programmed activities is still ongoing. Preparatory work to beautify the city is still in progress.

Vance is visiting India against the backdrop of increasing tension on trades globally.

His family and he landed in New Delhi on Tuesday for a 4 days family holiday. The trip comes shortly after president Trump announced and then backed down from imposing new restrictions on over 60 countries including India.

While the primary purpose of the trip is personal, the ongoing concerns and issues with trade deficit and tariffs focuses increases the level of diplomatic effort needed.

With PM Modi on India-US trade and Modi’s defense strategical discussions with Vice President Vance was held on last Monday. The two countries appreciated the ‘significant progress’ that is being made on a bilateral agreement aimed at trade and economic synergy that both countries are looking to finalize.

During the engagement at the Vice President's level, he was present with Second Lady Usha Chilukuri and the couple's three children: Ewan, Vivek, and Mirabel. In the evening, Prime Minister Modi invited the Vance family along with other Indian ministers and US government officials to his residence at 7 Lok Kalyan Marg for an informal dinner.

Given Diplomatic Undertakings

As stated in Modi's Office, the Prime Minister thanked and revered the President for the USA Donald Trump and looks forward to the  President’s arrival  The invite to come to India was in open expectations Moddi and the government of India are thrilled to the open celebration. Both sides even now expect any further problems in dealing with matters of mutual concern in the future. Definately arrangements in Military and Energy trades will be on the order.
