From April 21, United States Vice President JD Vance will be in India for four days. This will be his first trip to the nation since assuming office. He will arrive with his wife Usha, and children.

JD Vance will be arriving at Jaipur International Airport on April 21 where he will land at 9:30 PM. He has accommodation bookings at Hoel Rambagh Palace where he will be staying for the duration of his visit, and will be welcomed by Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma and Governor Kalraj Mishra.
On April 22, he is expected to arrive at Amer Fort by 9:00 AM, where he will be delighted by the sight of elephants 'Chanda' and 'Pushpa'. His itinerary includes a visit to:

- Hawa Mahal
Later that day, he will be a participant at a special event at the Rajasthan International Centre, and in the evening, he will have some working dinner engagements with local dignitaries.

On April 23, Vance, together with his delegation, will head to Agra to view the Taj Mahal. Official discussions and other diplomatic activities will continue with the India New Delhi.

Combined operatives from US and Indian Security agencies manage. For security purposes, the Amer Fort will be closed to tourists from 5 PM on April 22 until 12 PM on April 23.
