Rubio did mention in his statement that he is willing to assist in resolving conflicts by reaching out to the two opposing nations. He further reinforced the need to avoid any potential conflicts or conflicts in the future.
The White House Backed Rubio’s Outreach Efforts
The White House sided with the aide’s outreach about peaceful engagement. As stated by Secretary Karoline Leavitt Press, Donald Trump is watching closely. “The President would like as much de-escalation as possible. Rubio is in the middle of engaging both parties to aid in resolving the issue.” Leavitt stated on a briefing held last Friday.
