Lucknow News: New updates are coming from Uttar Pradesh. New health services are being added in the state under the guidance of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. While working toward the goal of One District, One Medical College (ODOM) policy, the Yogi government has taken another initiative. In line with that, the Yogi Government has approved the establishment of new medical colleges in the districts of Baghpat and Kasganj in order to provide better health services to citizens of these districts.

Public-private partnership gets green signal in Hathras

The proposal to set up a medical college under Public private partnership in Hathras has also been approved. In addition, the proposal to convert the existing satellite centre of King George Medical University in Balrampur into a medical college has also been sanctioned.

Medical college will be constructed through viability gap funding

The government of CM Yogi Adityanath has pledged to sustain and construct Medical Colleges in every district of Uttar Pradesh. In this regard, the setting up of medical colleges in Baghpat, Kasganj and Hathras is a great achievement.

The Yogi Administration has sanctioned these projects under the public private partnership investment program...... This initiative aims at broadening the scope of health services and expansion of medical education in the state, so having medical colleges in all districts will greatly improve the accessibility of health services in the state. At the meeting, CM Yogi mentioned, "This is a great deal of our effort towards the new Uttar Pradesh." These medical colleges should be built with great quality. Therefore, I have instructed the officials to ensure that the new medical college construction is completed on time.

The Yogi government’s construction of medical colleges promises not only advanced medical amenities, but also new jobs for the state’s youth. The new medical colleges will create an increasing supply of doctors, nurses, paramedical personnel, and other health professional. Furthermore, the Yogi government has also guaranteed the countrys modern reading facilities in the medical college so their students can receive better education compared to any other leading medical school. The college will manage this with the help of the government and private sector as well.

Construction of the KGMU satellite center will take place in Balrampur.

Yogi government also intends to construct a KGMU satellite center in Balrampur which will work as a medical college. This ensures that patients from distant locations will have access to adequate medical attention. The development of Balrampur as a medical college will prove to be beneficial not just for the local population, but for people from adjoining districts looking for improved health facilities as well. It will enhance the medical facilities in the state and it will also provide better services for the underprivileged.
