UP: A 4-Year Old Girl Raped While Sleeping on the Sidewalk Next to Mother, Hospitalized:

Suspense crime, Digital Desk : Basti: A 4-year-old girl has been raped, shocking us all from Basti in UP. Currently, the girl is undergoing treatment in the hospital. Police are trying to arrest the caught and have also provided us with the statement from SP Abhinandan regarding the case.

What is the issue at hand?

As per the police, a four-year-old girl was reportedly abducted while she was in the Sadar police station area of the district. Superintendent of police Abhinandan mentioned that the incident happened while the child was sleeping beside her mother who was resting on the roadside.” He added, “The mother of the minor victim told me that she woke up in the morning at five and her daughter was not there.”

SP Abhinandan noted that later on, the girl’s mother spotted the child and suspected rape. "The child has been sent for medical examination and for her mother's complaint, we have filed an FIR. Police claim that they are searching for the rape victim’s father and collecting evidence. Forensic teams have also been dispatched.”

Earlier, a woman was raped in a moving vehicle in Khurja police station area of Bulandshahr district on Tuesday. Three people were arrested in this case on Saturday. A police joint team caught the accused at Arnia around 2:30 pm on Bulandshahr-Aligarh bypass.

During an encounter with the police, two of the alleged accused sustained gunshot wounds to their legs.

Dr. Tejveer Singh, Additional Superintendent of Police (Rural), reported that the apprehended suspects are recognized as Sandeep, Gaurav, and Amit. Both Sandeep and Gaurav suffered injuries during the encounter. Singh further noted that Sandeep and Amit are from Gautam Buddha Nagar district, while Gaurav hails from Ghaziabad district. Police have seized illegal firearms, ammunition, and the vehicle which was purportedly employed in the crime from the arrested individuals. Both accused with injuries have been hospitalized for treatment.
