TV Actress Files Molestation Complaint Against Co-Star at Holi Party:

A famous actress on television has reported her colleague for harassment and touching inappropriately at a Holi festival. It is said that the event occurred at a celebration organized by their entertainment channel on the terrace of their office in Mumbai.

The 29 year old actress spoke about how her male colleague who is 30 years old, was under the influence of alcohol and he made her partake in color application against her wishes. In her FIR, she mentioned using evasive tactics to avoid him such as hiding behind a stall, but he hunted her down and did color application on her.

After the actress told her other friends about the situation, they went up to challenge the accused which led to a fight. She then made the decision to go to the police and file a formal complaint.

“He attempted to splash color on me and other women present. I didn’t wish to participate in Holi, so I objected and moved away from him. I went and hid behind the panipuri stall on the terrace but he pursued and attempted to smear color on me. I used my hands to shield my face but he came and grabbed me, putting color on my cheeks while saying, ‘I love you and I will see who saves you from me.’ Following that, he inappropriately touched me while putting color on me and I pushed him away. I was in a state of shock and went directly to the washroom,” she mentioned in her FIR.

The accused was charged by the Mumbai police under section 75(1)(i) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
