Turkey Backs Pakistan After India's Strikes on Terror Bases:

Following India's targeted strikes on nine terror camps across Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, Turkey extended its support to Pakistan, reiterating diplomatic solidarity.

The Turkish Ambassador in Islamabad met with Pakistani Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar to communicate Turkey’s official stance. During the meeting, the ambassador described the Indian operation as an “unprovoked violation of Pakistan’s sovereignty.”

According to the Pakistani foreign ministry, both countries engaged in detailed discussions concerning regional security and confirmed their intention to continue close cooperation and coordination.

Earlier, Turkey had clearly condemned the Pahalgam terror attack that left 26 Indian personnel dead. At the time, Turkey recognized the event as a terrorist incident but avoided referencing Jammu and Kashmir as a disputed territory—an omission that diverged from past diplomatic language.

India’s strike, carried out on Wednesday, targeted nine terror bases as a direct response to the April 22 attack, intensifying regional tensions and prompting international responses.
