Following her movie career, she got married to Captain Vinod Nair, a businessman and author, and together they lived in a domestic partnership for 4 years until getting married. Tulip and Vinod Nair started a consultancy firm in which she serves as the director. After not succeeding in the showbiz, winning in the industry proved fruitful for the Bollywood star. Aditya Chopra’s first wife Payal Khanna was Tulip’s friend which made her attend their wedding, so during that ceremony, Aditya spotted Joshi and encouraged her auditioning for a role. Out of that she received an offer for ‘Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai’ and that is how she started her acting career. Joshi doesn’t come from a filmy background.
