Agra: Carrying water bottles to the main dome of the Taj Mahal in Agra, Uttar Pradesh has been banned, an official said. Archaeological Survey of India’s superintending archaeologist Rajkumar Patel said on Tuesday that this step has been taken due to security reasons.
What is the whole matter?
Last Monday, claiming that the Taj Mahal is Tejo Mahalaya Shiva temple, the office bearers of the women’s wing of the All India Hindu Mahasabha had reached there to perform Jalabhishek and waved saffron clothes. However, they were unsuccessful and the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) jawans caught them.
The video of this incident also went viral on social media. Superintendent Archaeologist of Archaeological Survey of India Rajkumar Patel said on Tuesday, ‘CISF has asked to increase some security arrangements. For security reasons, water bottles will be taken from tourists before the main dome. Tourists will not be allowed to face any problem related to water.
