Recently Rajinikanth was in UAE, where he stayed for a few days. During this time the actor met Lulu Group Chairman and Managing Director MA Yusuf Ali and its other top officials. The superstar and the businessman also traveled together in a Rolls Royce.

This film is being produced under Lyca Productions. Apart from Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Fasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier and Dushra Vijayan are also in the lead roles in the film. The music of the film is composed by Anirudh Ravichandran.
