
Lucknow News: Fresh developments at Lucknow have emerged. A train that connects multiple states will now operate out of the city. This will allow for an easier access to Shakti Peeth Maa Kamakhya. There are plans for a new train service that will be conducted from Gomtinagar to Dibrugarh shortly. As per sources, the Northeast Frontier Railway has submitted its proposal to the Railway Board which is, almost, at a consensus on this matter. This train will operate through Ayodhya Dham and Gorakhpur. As per the proposal, the train is scheduled to operate once a week.
What is the schedule of the train?
As stated in the proposal, the train will leave Dibrugarh at 9 PM and arrive at Gorakhpur on the third day at 7:15 AM, Ayodhya Dham at 10:10 AM and finally reaching Gomtinagar at 1:15 PM. On this route, it will most probably have stoppages at Katihar, New Jalpaiguri, Barauni, Hajipur, and Chhapra Gramin. This portion of the journey will take comparatively more hours, close to 41. In this service, total of 22 coaches including general, sleeper, third AC, second AC, and first AC will be attached with this train.

It has been proposed by North and Northeast Railways to the Board and after getting their consent, it has been sent for further proceedings. It is expected that this train will also get the green signal from the Railway Board. The pricing of the tickets will be disclosed at a later time by the Northeast Frontier Railway. The commencement of this train service will be helpful for the devotees traveling to visit Kamakhya Devi from Lucknow as well as ease the pilgrimage for the devotees originating from Northeastern states to Ramlala in Ayodhya.
