Even though it was unable to achieve expected box office sales, 'Jaat' has managed to create buzz within the audience. As for the action thriller fans, it is worth noting that Sunny Deol has now anticipatively announced a sequel, 'Jaat 2: On To A New Mission'.

As per the Instagram update on Thursday, the actor shared the first official poster of the film along with, “#Jaat on to a New Mission! #Jaat2.” The poster also confirms that Gopichand Malineni is returning as director.


Production Notes, Crew Return Made with the Poster

The poster of Jaat 2 credits Naveen Yerneni, Ravi Shankar Y and TG Vishwa Prasad as di-rectors. Once again, the sequel will be produced by Mythri Movie Makers who also funded the first installment. 
Although the cast has not completely been announced, the remaining of the original crew hints that the upcoming film will likely retain the style of its predecessor.

Highlights of Cast and Recap of Jaat Part 1
Jaat featured the titular actor as the renowned hero, played by sunny deol while the antagonistic character of the movie was portrayed by Randeep Hooda. Other notable casts were Regina Cassandra, Saiyami Kher, Vineet Kumar Singh, Prashant Bajaj, Zarina Wahab and Jagapathi Babu.

The movie is Gopichand Malineni's first Hindi film and was equally touted as Sunny Deol's inaugural all-India action venture. While critical reception was lukewarm at best, the general audience seemed to appreciate the acting, particularly by Deol and Hooda.  

Synopsis of Jaat  

Jaat is set in an imaginary semen of rampant land mafia will be, afraid of rhetorical corruption and unimaginable violence. The movie describes portrayal of a stubborn aggressive fellow to protect the villagers and restore justice. His is the hero of every action film,and hence Deol's performance was appreciated by everyone.
