The six-time world champion demonstrated absolute dominance on the court, overcoming fellow Indian shuttler U. Kumar in a brisk 30-minute summit clash with a straight-set scoreline of 21-16, 21-8. In addition to his singles triumph, Bhagat added a silver medal to his tally by partnering with Sukant Kadam in the men's doubles SL3-SU5 final, though the duo fell short against Indonesia's formidable pair of Hikmat Ramadhani and Fredy Setiawan with scores of 5-21, 15-21.
