In this exercise, Shilpa performs a supine plank and keeps her legs, arms, and core tight while tossing a tennis ball between two hands. Aside from dynamic balance and hand-eye coordination, this exercise requires a significant degree of muscle activation and resistance due to the wrist weights she is using.
Functional Fitness at Its Best
This appears to be one of the best all-round workouts that fall under the functional fitness regime as it aims at the improvement of body stabilization, movement control, change of direction, and execution of simple and complex body movements. Shilpa captioned the post:
