Suspense crime, Digital Desk : The producers behind the rumored Diljit Dosanjh film "Sardaar Ji 3" have broken their silence, issuing a definitive clarification to quell the social media firestorm that erupted over the speculated casting of Pakistani actress Hania Aamir.

The controversy began when a fan-made poster featuring Dosanjh and Aamir went viral, leading to widespread outrage and calls for a boycott under the hashtag #BoycottSardaarJi3. The backlash was fueled by the unofficial but widely respected ban on Pakistani artists in the Indian film industry, which was implemented following the 2019 Pulwama terror attack.

In a formal statement, production house White Hill Studios set the record straight, explaining the timeline and context behind the rumored project.

The producers clarified that while they had considered Hania Aamir for the role, this was before the tragic Pulwama attack. The statement emphasized that in the wake of the attack and the subsequent industry-wide decision to cease collaborations with Pakistani artists, they respected the national sentiment and did not proceed with signing the actress. The project, as it was originally envisioned, was shelved.

"After the Pulwama attack, our nation's sentiment was our utmost priority, and we have always stood in support of our country," the statement read, reinforcing their patriotic stance.

The production house confirmed that the current outrage is based on outdated information and an unverified poster that has resurfaced online. Their clarification aims to end the speculation and reassure the public that they have and will continue to adhere to the industry's collective decision. The statement effectively confirms that the project with the rumored cast is not happening.
