School Timings Heatwave: Due to the acute heatwave condition, District Magistrate Anjani Kumar Singh has made changes in the school timings for all primary classes. From now on, schools shall open at 7:00 A.M. and close at 12:00 noon until the notice is lifted.

Official Circular Issued

After the orders of the district magistrate, Basic Shiksha Adhikari (BSA) Deepika Gupta has on Friday sent a formal circular to all the schools which carry the new timings.

Council school teachers will complete their duties by 1:00 P.M. as they still have some untended work in the department.

Protective Measures Implemented

In order to protect the students from the high temperatures, schools have to follow the undermentioned regulations:

All schools are required to set up digital monitors which shall be capable of recording the temperature as well as the heatwave.

Students and school children have to be managed properly with adequate ratio of ORS (Oral Rehydration Solution) in case of heat related diseases.

Proper provision of cold drinking water, shaded places and free circulation of air for ventilation or cooling must be made.

All the students are required not to take part in any extra-schools outdoor activities put in with the aim of getting preventive measures against the radiation of heat.

These measures intend to protect the health and safety of the students in view of the rising temperatures.
