Suspense crime, Digital Desk : During the Saudi-US Investment Forum, Elon Musk disclosed that Saudi Arabia has now authorized the usage of Starlink for maritime and aviation purposes. This further broadens Starlink's expanding international footprint.
“I’d also like to thank the Kingdom for approving Starlink for maritime and aviation use,” said Musk, as he fully appreciated the help extended by the Saudi government.
Saudi Arabia Potential Expansion of Tesla Technologies
Musk further explained that he intends to deploy Tesla’s autonomous robotaxi technology in Saudi Arabia, again subject to local government legislation. He noted how the Kingdom offers great potential to implement new technology in transportation.
Musk also posted a video on X where he referred to Trump and Saudi crown Mohammed bin Salman as two of the people he plans to show Tesla’s humanoid robots Optimus currently in development.

Starlink's Strategic Role and Global Reach Expansion
Starlink, operated by SpaceX, is now offering satellite internet in over 125 countries. It has served a crucial need in places of high demand like conflict zones, for instance, Ukraine. The service continues to expand as it rivals other developed networks like Amazon’s Kuiper system.
U.S.-Saudi Tech Collaborations Expand
The forum coincided with Trump’s second term international tour, the first leg of which aims to garner investment commitments worth $1 trillion from the Middle East. During the same event, Huang Jensen, CEO of Nvidia, disclosed a deal to provide advanced AI chips, totaling more than 18,000 units, to Saudi company Humain.
