About 40 people have been injured in incidents involving electric stoves. About eight of these people have also had to seek medical help. The electric models that Samsung has recalled include models sold from May 2013 to August 2024. The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) informed last Thursday that these electric stoves have knobs on the front that can be turned on accidentally. Not only this, if a person or pet collides with them, they also turn on, which poses a risk of fire.
