The movie continues to have an unanswered love from the audience, and recently Raveena Tandon shared a throwback picture on social media with her co-star Salman Khan and the fans went wild.

This also goes to show how these images have acted as a source of information and how it has shaped the understanding of the character. Karisma Kapoor was at her witty best in the film, and now it has become one of the cult classics in Bollywood. Even with the release of the movie years back, the humor and performances remain unmatched.

Handing over the baton, Raveena Tandon shared a picture from her Instagram stories featuring Salman Khan in the centre, who while holding her laughed and smiled. Raveena definitely made jaws drop by sharing this photo with her fans. There have been many speculations about the sequel for Andaaz Apana Apana and fans are looking forward to the day the hetrosexual duo reunite again.

In a live session in 2024, Aamir Khan made an intriguing offer to his fans, declaring that there is a good news for all the comedy lovers as there is a sequel to Andaaz Apna Apna titled Andaaz Apna Apna 2. With this revelation, Aamir looked quite excited as did the fandom reminding us of the times before pandemic when people used to wait in suspense. Aamir Khan stated, “Filmmaker Rajkumar Santoshi is working on the script of ‘Andaz Apna Apna 2’.”Aamir made it very clear that it is in the works and they are only in the concept phase.

The move comes shortly after the talk of the sequel of the movie tore the fandom apart as it was announced that the movie would be published in 2020. But Amit Khan shattered the hearts of countless supporters by reiterating that no such movie is planned anytime soon.

In 1994, Andaaz Apna Apna burst onto the scene with great glamour and swiftly became a smash. The film was directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and produced by Vinay Kumar Sinha. It had Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Raveena Tandon, Karisma Kapoor, Paresh Rawal (who portrayed a dual part), and Shakti Kapoor among its star-studded cast, which ensured the film was popular for years.

In a past conversation with The Times of India, Raveena Tandon had expressed her enthusiasm towards the idea of being able to Star in Andaaz Apna Apna again. She noted that it would fun to remake the comedy as it would pose a new challenge for her: I would be able to make a revisit and would love to be a part of Andaz Apna Apna. Reimagining this other comedy_in_a_new_perspective would be a fun challenge. She further elaborated , ‘Collaborating with people such as Ranveer Singh or Ayushmann Khurrana would infuse a modern twist into the original characters, but their creativity would elevate it’
