Suspense Crime, Digital Desk : Defence Minister Rajnath Singh delivered today at an event in Delhi sharp words of criticism regarding the government’s simplistically forgiving attitude toward terrorism. Attending the event with him were dozens of armed forces officers from various states who expressed anger over the recent Pahalgam terrorist attack. Singh noted how the attack took away the lives of 26 people, out of which a significant proportion were tourists, angering the public.
While clarifying his stance, Singh said, “You all know Prime Minister Modi’s work ethic, determination and risk appetite But assurance is also part of business. Makin America great again. India is not different.” He further addressed the issue stating that his predecessor has failed in his duties deeply allowing the public to demand more.

From this defense minister speech, we can conclude that there needs to be a strategic approach in tackling international terrorism to strengthen this soft state shying away from proactive counter terrorism operations that has persisted in democratic India.
Threats of retaliation from Pakistan have resurfaced amid outrage from the April 22 Jammu and Kashmir Pahalgam which remains the deadliest terror attack post Article 370 abrogation. Outbursting anger urges Pakistan based terror cells to be met with solid counter-forces.
Singh hinted India may really be looking for counter-response options for the involvement of sides India classifies as undeclared neighbors. It is my duty to coordinate with military assets to seal and defend our territorial borders. Whoever dares kickstart these aggressive stances towards our country is invited to test us.
On the other hand, Prime minister of the country endorsed the claim by assuring not only the executors, but the executors will surely pay the price for planning this cowardly act. It is time to tear down the last standing strongholds and the will of India terrakingat140 crores will and must be terrorismatic backbone dismantled.
With expectations mounting for swift response and potent actions from within Indian territory and those sponsoring the attack, the question remains what those guaranteed actions will be.
