A large-scale public protest rally was recently organized by the social organization Yuva Shakti Manch in Jaipur's historic walled city (Parkota). The demonstration was held to raise concerns regarding the alleged increasing exodus of the Hindu majority population from the old city areas.

A significant number of local women and youth participated in the demonstration, wearing saffron turbans and carrying saffron flags. Participants moved through the streets on two-wheelers, four-wheelers, and camel carts, raising slogans to voice their concerns over migration patterns within the walled city.

Demonstrators highlighted multiple socioeconomic factors driving the issue. Participants stated that a perceived lack of adequate security, limited employment opportunities, and insufficient basic civic amenities are compelling residents to leave their ancestral homes and relocate elsewhere.
