Suspense crime, Digital Desk : Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has launched a blistering attack on the ruling BJP-led alliance, accusing them of "electoral manipulation" in the recent Maharashtra Assembly elections. Using the potent Indian cricket analogy of "match-fixing," Gandhi claimed the results, which saw the Mahayuti alliance win a majority, did not reflect the true will of the people.

Speaking to the media, Gandhi described the situation as "poison for the country," warning that the same tactics could be deployed in the upcoming assembly elections in Bihar. He argued that the entire process was orchestrated by the power of the central government to ensure a pre-determined outcome.

"This is not a democratic process; it is electoral manipulation," Gandhi stated emphatically. He questioned how the opposition INDIA bloc, which performed strongly in Maharashtra during the national Lok Sabha elections just months ago, could suffer such a stark reversal in the state polls. He suggested this discrepancy was clear evidence of foul play.

Gandhi framed the issue as a fundamental battle for the soul of Indian democracy and the Constitution. He asserted that a system where elections are "fixed" disenfranchises voters and hollows out the democratic process.

Despite the setback, he vowed that the opposition would not be deterred. "We will not give up the fight," he declared, signaling a continued political and potentially legal battle against the election results. He positioned the INDIA bloc as the defenders of the people's mandate against what he termed a systemic subversion of the electoral system.
