Leading the charge from Chandigarh, former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia asserted that the ruling party at the Centre routinely deploys federal probe agencies as political instruments whenever elections draw near. Sisodia stated that even if the Centre dispatches four lakh investigative officers to suppress the voice of Punjab, the people of the state will never bow down or be intimidated, maintaining that the Bhagwant Mann-led administration is anchored in absolute administrative integrity where agencies will find no traces of corruption.

Punjab Cabinet Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian strongly rebuked allegations leveled by former Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu claiming he had fled the country, clarifying that he was very much present in Punjab and mocking claims regarding US travel tickets. Expressing outrage over agency actions, Mundian alleged that federal officials harassed the family of his nephew, Gurpreet Singh alias Prince, during an extensive overnight search at their Sahnewal residence that lasted until 3:00 AM. The minister claimed that Prince’s wife was made to stand for over four hours while interrogators questioned her about personal relationships, family assets, and salaries in the presence of an elderly mother and a three-year-old toddler, maintaining that political intimidation will never force him to abandon the party.

Reinforcing the party's stance, Punjab Cabinet Minister Harjot Singh Bains and AAP State Working President Amansher Singh Sherry Kalsi argued that central agencies are being leveraged to stall Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann's governance momentum and deflect attention from regional political setbacks. Meanwhile, the central enforcement agency expanded its ongoing money laundering investigation into the Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA) land-pooling and allotment matters, executing widespread searches and surveys across commercial and residential premises in Delhi, Chandigarh, Mohali, Panchkula, and Ludhiana, with key investigative focus centered on entities linked to Tirupati Infraprojects and affiliated corporate networks.
